When is the result not satisfying?

Why do we lose energy? Why do we feel bad even when the financial indicators are good? Because we are not getting the results we want from our activities. Why don't we get it? There are four reasons.

The first reason is the wrong goal or the wrong intention. The intention to undertake a particular economic activity usually stems from a desire to realise oneself. Let's call it an economic intention.

But intentions are not only economic. They can arise from a person's need to appear significant. One of the reasons why we cannot achieve the desired result is that we confuse these intentions. Wanting to prove something to someone is not an economic intention. We are playing power games instead of focusing on an economic goal. So the first question we should ask ourselves is, where does my intention come from?

The second reason is the wrong place, the wrong time. The right place is where I can exert some influence - that is, my particular territory. The right time is the emerging needs in the market. For example, we are now entering an era where the breakthrough of artificial intelligence is changing everything fundamentally, bringing the need for humanity to the fore.

The third reason is inadequate tools (resources). Sometimes the intention is forward-looking and the means and ways of doing things are old, from the past. Thus, it is important not to mix old and new contexts when starting a new activity.

The fourth reason is inappropriate criteria. It is important to understand where your idea is and to measure each stage with different criteria. However, most of the time, we measure our economic activities by a single criterion: money, even though we still have a long way to go. So the first criterion by which we should measure the result is functionality - what value I create, the second is satisfaction with what I do, and then all the other criteria after that.
